When you’ve played over 1.200 games in the NHL and scored more than 400 goals, you’ve earned the right to talk about hockey for a living. And when you have a personality about it, all the better.
These days, Ray Ferraro is based out of Vancouver, working for TSN. However, after being selected by the Whalers at the 1982 draft, he went on to play in Hartford, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and St. Louis. He was good for 20 goals every year and coaches knew they’d get a guy who would work harder than just about every other player on the team.
Although he sees plenty of Canucks games these days – so, he’ll help us break down their current roster and playoff chances – he’s also going to share some stories about former Kings’ teammates Rob Blake, Ian Laperriere, Glen Murray, Eddie Olczyk and even Vitali Yachmenev.
What’s wrong with the Kings’ power play? Ferraro offers advice on how to fix it.
Plus, we’re going to swap a few Willie Mitchell jokes just for good measure.
Enjoy the show…
