Following up on a story MayorsManor first broke last week regarding the Kings 2014 Frozen Fury plans – which will take place in early October and serve as the last game of their exhibition schedule – here are full details on the other special preseason game they’ll be playing in October…
LOS ANGELES – The LA Kings and Colorado Avalanche will play a preseason game October 2 at the newly renamed Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs, the club announced today. Game-time will be 7 p.m.
Game tickets, which go on sale to the general public May 8, will be priced between $25-$80.
Special room rates at the world class resort will be made available to season ticket holders in the weeks to come.
Also as part of the event, the Kings and Avalanche will be hosting a celebrity golf tournament at the Broadmoor Golf Resort on Wednesday, October 1. The tournament will benefit the USA Hockey Foundation.
Foursomes can be purchased for $3,000 and includes an LA Kings or Colorado Avalanche special guest in the foursome, breakfast, lunch, cocktail reception and a ticket to the Kings-Avalanche game on October 2.
