In an ironic twist to their baseball-themed game coming up on Wednesday night, the Ontario Reign announced a new jersey sponsor earlier this afternoon. They’ll now be working with Rotolo Chevrolet and Caposio Buick GMC — a group that features former Dodgers pitching legend Orel Hershiser in their television commercials.
With the ink barely dry on a new multi-year partnership, the Reign will debut their new patch vs. the Tucson Roadrunners later this evening at Toyota Arena.
The sponsorship contract is said to give the dealerships exclusive jersey patch placement for all home and road regular season and playoff games.
That’s not all, though. Rotolo Chevrolet and Caposio Buick GMC will now also serve as the presenting sponsor of all Reign power plays during their home games, as well as Ontario’s nightly Chuck-A-Puck contest.
“Rotolo Chevrolet and Caposio Buick GMC are proud to become a part of the Ontario Reign family for this and many years to come,” dealerships owner Mike Caposio said via a team supplied press release. “Rotolo Chevrolet has been a fixture in the Inland Empire since 1971. Being family owned and operated, we are grateful for families in the IE choosing Rotolo Chevrolet for their transportation needs. We are bringing the same commitment of customer service to the high desert communities with Caposio Buick and GMC. With our customers’ trust and confidence, Rotolo Chevrolet has been named Dealer of the Year for the past 13 years. Caposio Buick GMC along with Rotolo Chevrolet are teaming up to board The Reign Train.”
The new patch will debut on Ontario’s jersey on Wednesday night when they take on the visiting Tucson Roadrunners as part of Quakes Night — a collab between the two local sports teams. Projected lineups for tonight can be found using the link below.
