“Controlled excitement, we want to be able to have a start down here like they’ve had up there at The Tank up in San Jose. I think maybe we were a little laxed in our preparation. On his reputation being the guy to turn it on during the post-season:

“I don’t know. You’re the one with the pen, you’re the one who get’s to watch, you tell me.” (reporter: Well sometimes you see a lot more down there, so how do you feel?”)… “Yeah, I feel good.” (reporter: “Is there anything about the playoffs?”)… “It means a lot more.”
