MayorsManor First Goal Contest: Game 34 – Kings at Wild

With a 4-2 win in St. Louis on Thursday night, the Kings have scored nine goals in the first two games of the current road trip.  Tonight they’ll be in Minnesota to take on the Wild for the first time this season.

Captain Dustin Brown remains red hot at the moment, scoring seven goals in his last 10 games played.  Over that same stretch, the once unstoppable Jeff Carter has scored just once.

Rookie Tyler Toffoli is expected to once again be on a line with Carter and Mike Richards, while Anze Kopitar will center the usual line of Brown and Justin Williams. (full line combos are listed later in this article).

If you can guess who will score first for the Kings in Minnesota, you could win yourself some free food.

So, how do you play? Three easy steps…

STEP 2 – Click here to check today’s sponosr, the Redondo Beach Cafe – Southern California’s all hockey restaurant. If you haven’t been there to watch a game, you need to get down there soon. They offer great food and have lots of great hockey memorabilia on the walls.

STEP 3 – Place a comment below with the LAST NAME of the LA Kings player you think will score first vs. the Wild (one entry per person). We’ll pool all the correct entries and one person will be randomly selected to receive a $20 gift certificate to the Redondo Beach Cafe.

Healthy Scratches: Davis Drewiske, Dustin Penner and Brad Richardson

Jonathan Quick is expected to be the starting goaltender once again.
