LA def CBJ 2-1, post-game: Doughty wants Kings to give more

February 15, 2013 By John Hoven

More post-game comments following the Kings 2-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday night…

– Drew Doughty on the overall game – “Overall, we probably could have given a little more…Have to give a little more in every aspect of the game whether it’s our forecheck, offensive game, defensive game, could have been better, but overall we got the win and that’s what matters.”

– Doughty on playing with Keaton Ellerby: “It looks like we’re playing pretty well. You know we’re not giving up hardly any chances against, and that’s what our goal is as a pair. So hopefully we can continue to do that.”

– Doughty on the rest of the weekend: “We have practice tomorrow because we play an afternoon game there in Chicago so we won’t be able to skate before. So tomorrow is a really important practice to prepare for Chicago.”
