Tuesday night saw the Kings leave Edmonton with a much-needed two points. It was a tight game most of the way though, until Jeff Carter scored the game winning goal with less than a minute remaining in the third period. And a few seconds later, Jarret Stoll added an empty net goal for good measure. LA out-shot Edmonton 38-24 and Jonathan Quick made 23 saves.
Post-game thoughts from Carter, Drew Doughty and Trevor Lewis be read here.
Following the game we asked people to complete the following:

After scanning the feedback provided on twitter and facebook, here are the ten best answers…
@JordanKaylie1 – The defense stepped up to their speed, Quick had great saves & played well, physical game, and LA had good shots!
@rvp29 – Kings’ defense controlling the Oilers’ speedy children.
@ozunorocks – Quick’s rebound control and overall performance. #FILLINTHEBLANK
Jared D. – Quickie being strong and looking back in form between the pipes.
Marc N. – The Oilers started Khabibulin and not Dubnyk.
Caleb R. – The lack of a Yack celly.
Steve N. – Dustin Brown’s hit on Nugent-Hopkins
David S. – Doughty looked a lot better than he has since the season began.
Kevin R. – A 60 minute effort.
