Here we go, the Eastern Conference Finals resume tonight with game two…
And along with the Rangers and Devils taking to the ice, our special edition of the First Goal Contest is back up and running (original article here). As previously announced, one lucky reader is going to win their choice of a team signed LA Kings stick or jersey at the end of the playoffs! If you’re interested, it’s pretty simple to play – each morning we’ll post the games scheduled for that particular day and you need to guess who will score the first goal in each game. To make things a little easier, you can even take a player from BOTH teams. For example, here’s what an entry would look like for tonight’s game:
New Jersey (Ponikarovsky) at NY Rangers (Gaborik)
Please note that the maximum number of correct entries today would be one, as you’re trying to guess the first goal in the game – not for each team.
