Contest: First Goal – two games on April 29, 2012

Second round Sunday is upon us, so it’s time for another pair of games.

As you’ve probably heard by now, MayorsManor is hosting a special First Goal Contest that will run through the entire length of the post-season (original announcement here). Here’s what you need to know – each morning we’ll post the games scheduled for that particular day and you need to guess who will score the first goal in each game. The MayorsManor reader with the most correct submissions at the end of the playoffs wins their choice of an LA Kings signed stick or jersey. Simple enough, right?

To make things a little easier, you can even take a player from BOTH teams. For example, here’s what an entry would look like for the games scheduled today, Sunday 4/29/2012:

New Jersey (Parise) at Philadelphia (Simmonds)
Nashville (Suter) at Phoenix (Doan)

The maximum number of correct entries today would be two though, as you’re trying to guess the first goal in the game – not for each team.

Please place your entry below.

Good luck!
