Kings prospect Brandt Clarke arrived in San Jose on Sunday for the AHL’s 2024 All Star Weekend sporting a brand new black eye, courtesy of a fight the night before.
Following that dust up during a Reign game at Toyota Arena, the 20-year-old defenseman said he was feeling just fine and “no worse for wear.” Apparently, he knew what he was talking about. Clarke showed up at the Skills Competition and let everybody in attendance and watching on NHL Network know that he had arrived.
The young blueliner was a perfect 4-for-4 in the Accuracy Shooting contest, becoming only the fifth player in league history to turn such a trick.

If this guy was a prospect for the Blackhawks I’d say bring him up right now just for the for his skills but to take a black eye for the team and protect Connor old school hockey guy that’s what we need
