    The bonus point should be removed because one team is going to win either way. If you go back to before the bonus point was awarded, every argument in favor of the bonus point no longer applies. I think if the bonus point is no longer available, players are going to try to win the game just the same. We won’t see teams play conservatives Hockey in the 3rd period when the game is tied. They’ll go for the win, just as they do in overtime and the shootout.
