From a Kings perspective, they picked up goals from Adrian Kempe, Viktor Arvidsson, and Trevor Moore.
In net, Pheonix Coley started the game for coach Todd McLellan, followed by David Rittich coming in for cleanup duty — he stopped all three shots faced.
Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 23 at 9pm Pacific Time. It will feature the 2023-24 preseason debut of Kings prospects Alex Turcotte, Sammy Fagemo, and Jacob Moverare. Mayor’s Manor will have a Projected Lineup article posted later this afternoon.
