One step forward, one step back.
Just 24 hours after securing a dominant 5-1 victory in St. Louis, the Kings are essentially close to square one again.
On the season, LA and coach Todd McLellan are back back to .500 on the season, sitting at 6-6-0 overall. They’re also 1-1 on their current 3-game road trip.
On the plus side, if they can come away with a win in Chicago on Thursday, they’ll close out their second roadie with a winning record. And going 2-1 on the road every three games is a long-term recipe for success.
