Projected Lineup: LA Kings at Dallas Stars on Tuesday

November 1, 2022 By Scott Coffman

For only the second time this season, the Kings will play back-to-back games when they drop the puck in Dallas on Tuesday night.

Coach Todd McLellan and his squad began their first road trip of the year with back-to-back games in Detroit and Nashville.
After putting up five goals and claiming a victory over the Red Wings, they went on to score four goals and snag a win against the Predators.

Well, to open the current road trip, LA secured a 5-1 win on Monday. Can a little history repeat itself; will four goals be enough to beat the Stars on Tuesday?

Following last night’s game, McClellan talked about not wanting to change his lineup, but sometimes inserting guys in to give others the night off. Following a season where Sean Walker missed nearly a full year with MCL and ACL injuries, it’s conceivable he will not be asked to play on consecutive nights. This would also allow rookie Brandt Clarke to get back into action after sitting out the last two games.

If so, it would mark Game 9 of his NHL journey. More on the Kings immediate plans with the 19-year-old blueliner can be found at the link below.

Up front, Quinton Byfield remains sidelined with flu-like symptoms.
