As a Kings fan, the most troubling aspect of this match-up going in was that Edmonton ended the season as a hot team, with Smith playing well. Winning Game 1 on the road strikes me as particularly important in that it slows Edmonton’s momentum, maybe signaling that they are going to revert to the mean. Same with Smith, with his crucial Oopsie! perhaps a sign that he is going to revert to his mean, as well.
