For 25-year-old Brendan Lemieux, he’s already with his fourth franchise since originally being selected by the Buffalo Sabres back in 2014. Although he eventually made his NHL debut with the Winnipeg Jets, it was New York where he called home from February 2019 until being dealt to Los Angeles late last season. With the Rangers, the pesky forward played more than half of the 204 games he’s seen action in thus far. Tonight, he’ll get that all important revenge game – his chance to show the blueshirts what they’re missing out on.
In 24 games with the Kings this season, Lemieux has been one of LA’s more productive bottom-6 players, scoring seven goals and forming a highly effective line with Blake Lizotte and Arthur Kaliyev.
Per Todd McLellan, Martin Frk in COVID-19 protocol.

Due to the ongoing protocol related moves surrounding teams these days, the Kings will see highly regarded prospect Alex Turcotte return to the lineup, as well as forward Alex Iafallo.
For Turcotte, this will be his fourth game. He’s still searching for his first point. However GM Rob Blake was on Kings Of The Podcast recently talking about what he’s seen from his 2019 first round pick – listen below:
In net, coach Todd McLellan probably wasn’t originally planning the week this way — yet coming off of an impressive shutout on Saturday — he’s turning to Cal Petersen once again.
