It’s time to take a lap around the globe and check in on the LA Kings prospects playing in various leagues. The following reports are for games played through end of day Sunday, October 10th.
ONTARIO REIGN (AHL)
Due to the Ontario Reign featuring a large volume of LA Kings prospects, a select number of them will be featured in the trackers based on their draft position and performance for the week.
Lias Andersson, Center (7th overall in 2017)
Andersson may be sticking around the tracker a bit longer as he was injured in the Kings final pre-season game against the Ducks. His status is unconfirmed.

Quinton Byfield, Center (2nd overall in 2020)
Byfield will be out for an undetermined amount of time due to an ankle fracture he suffered when he went into the boards awkwardly.

Aiden Dudas, Left Wing/ Center (113th overall in 2018)
In pre-season play against the Gulls, Dudas evened the game with a laser over the right shoulder over the goaltender.

Arthur Kaliyev, Right Wing (33rd overall in 2020)
Kaliyev had a massive four-point performance against the Ducks, including a hat-trick. His first goal was a cannon of a shot sent perfectly over the right shoulder of the goalie after the puck rebounded right to Kaliyev. His second was from a redirection in the middle of the slot. He would cap off the hat-trick with an empty netter.

Alex Turcotte, Center/Left Wing (5th overall in 2019)
Wednesday night, Turcotte put the Kings up 4-3 against the Ducks when he was the finisher in a tic-tac-toe play that was executed on the power-play.

Jordan Spence, RH Defenseman (95th overall in 2019)
Playing in the pre-season against the Gulls, Spence scored a goal off of a redirection.

Jacob Ingham, Goalie (175th overall in 2018)
Ingham stopped 20 out of 20 shots against the Gulls in pre-season action before he was swapped out at the halfway point of the game.

Martin Chromiak, Kingston Frontenacs, Left Wing (128th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 1 goals, 2 assists, plus-2, 0 PIM in 3 games played
Chromiak scored Kingston’s first goal of the season off of a rebound from the right side. He would add another two assists in Kingstons 3-2 loss to the Ottawa 67’s.

Francesco Pinelli, Kitchener Rangers, Center (42nd overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 2 assists, plus-1, 0 PIM in 2 games played
Pinelli started off his OHL season on fire, scoring twice and adding two assists. His first goal would come from a bar-down snipe after receiving a drop-pass in the slot. His second would come the following game on the power play when he fired a shot on net through traffic. Later in that game, he would add a primary assist on the overtime winner.

Brandt Clarke, Barrie Colts, RH Defenseman (8th overall in 2021)

Alex Laferriere, Harvard Univ., Right Wing (83rd overall in 2020)
The Des Moines Buccaneers leading scorer from last season will make his NCAA debut with Harvard University on October 16th against the University of Ottawa.
Andre Lee, UMass-Lowell, LW/C (188th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 goals, 1 assist, even plus/minus, 15 PIM in 2 games played
The River Hawks did not play this week.
Braden Doyle, Boston University, LH Defenseman (157th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 goals, 0 assists, even plus/minus, 0 PIM in 2 games played
Boston split their games against the University of Connecticut. Doyle recorded no stats.
Brock Faber, Univ. of Minnesota, RH Defenseman (45th overall in 2020)

Faber added an assist in the first game of the Gophers dominant wins over Mercyhurst. He sent a simple drop pass to a cycling forward who would find Faber’s defensive partner alone in the slot.

David Hrenak, St. Cloud State, Goalie (144th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 0.84 GAA, .961 SV % in 4 games played
Number two ranked St.Cloud split their two games against number one ranked Minnesota State, losing 1-0 and then winning 3-1. Hrenak made 50 saves on 52 shots. Their next game is against Brock Faber’s Gophers.
VARIOUS EUROPEAN LEAGUES
Samuel Helenius, LIIGA-JYP, Center (59th overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 goals, 4 assists, plus-2, 18 PIM in 11 games played
JYP won all three of its games this week. Helenius put up a point with an assist on the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Assat.

SM-Sarja-Pelicans U20: 2 goals, 9 assists, plus-5, 4 PIM in 6 games played
Jämsen spent the week playing in SM-Sarja where he added two assists in a 6-1 win over Vaasan Sport.
Kasper Simontaival, LIIGA-KalPa, Center (66th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 3 goals, 0 assists, even plus/minus, 8 PIM in 5 games played
Simontaival did not play this week. KalPa lost both their games.
Kim Nousiainen, LIIGA-KalPa, LH Defenseman (119th overall in 2019)

KalPa is still without their top defenseman due to injury.
Kirill Kirsanov, KHL-SKA St. Petersburg, LH Defenseman (84th overall in 2021)

SKA played three games this week, winning two and losing one. Kirsanov TOI average went up again by nearly a minute and now stands at 17:54. In talking with our sources from Russia, they cannot remember the last time a 19-year-old reliably played this many big minutes.
Juho Markkanen, LIIGA-SaiPa, Goalie (112th overall in 2020)

SM-Sarja-SaiPa U20: 4.50 GAA, .820 SV%
Markkanen finally got his first start of the season, making 24 saves in a 3-2 overtime win over Ilves.
