In our continuing quest to provide the most in-depth coverage of the Kings prospect pipeline, Nelson Emerson stops by again to chat about a handful of LA draft picks who just completed their 2021 college seasons — including Brock Faber, Andre Lee, and a few other NCAA standouts. Hi John…I thought some of the Reign games were going to be carried on TV. Did I miss something that changed that plan?
Believe it was an idea discussed, yet ultimately not executed. Would assume part of the challenge was the compacted sports schedules over the past few months had local BSN channels full each night. They likely weren’t looking for additional content. Either way, all AHL games were available at a discounted streaming price this season (about $1 per game for all Reign games). Plus, both Kings and Reign season ticket holders were given free access to AHL.TV for the 2021 season.
Thank you, John! I’m thankful for all of the discounts that were offered (even though I only took advantage of the free AHL.tv trial)!! Hope you have a great rest of your week!
