After a day off yesterday, allowing for a physical and mental break following back-to-back overtime losses to Minnesota, the LA Kings returned to practice today.
Although the team is still on the ice as of this posting, thus far coach Todd McLellan has not shown his hand. Rather than any sort of real line rushes, the team started out by doing some 2×2 end-to-end drills and then proceeded to specialty team work.
All players were at TSPC this morning prior to the 11am on-ice schedule, likely leading to (again, they haven’t done line rushes):
Iafallo – Kopitar – Brown
Athanasiou – Lizotte – Carter
Kempe – Vilardi – Wagner
Moore – Amadio – Luff
Grundstrom – Andersson – Anderson-Dolan
Maatta – Doughty
Anderson – Roy
MacDermind – Walker
Bjornfot – Clague
Quick
Petersen
Ingham
