Been very disappointed with DL, DS, and the Kings organization in general of late. The VV situation in which DL wrongly tried to take responsibility for a 25 year old man getting drunk and beating his wife. The MR saga where DL should have bought him out. Lastly the Stoll fiasco in Las Vegas.

DL has worked himself into a corner where he is now almost forced to overpay Kopi. It’s beginning to smell like another Lecavilier, Drury, Gomez, Brad Richards situation in the making. Kopi is not worth anything over eight million and for no more than five years. DL should have moved him at the draft instead he went all in on ML in the Boston trade so now he has to pay AK. ML seems like a good fit for now but paying AK too much money for too long is going to hurt the Kings eventually.

Another problem is DS who refuses to integrate the young players quickly enough into the big club. DL lets him get away with it which is DL’s bad. The Kings are likely to be good this year but things could get very dicey in the next few years with the Cap hanging over the King’s head. DS will likely be gone by then and DL may be on his way out if Kopi does not play better than he has recently in a Kings uniform. He always plays harder and better for his own country in tournaments. At those times he hits, people and drives the net. Maybe it’s his father who forces him as he is the coach? Would like to see the same effort from him in a Kings uniform…

This promises to be a preview of the Pacific division. We only hear sharks and kings. Is there more audio not loaded?
