Like the Blackhawks game last Saturday, several Kings players and fans circled tonight’s matchup on the calendar when the 2014-15 NHL schedule was released, as this is generally considered a benchmark game. Interestingly, neither club has played up to their full potential thus far.

700:1 – Bruins forward Milan Lucic will duplicate his efforts from his first-ever trip to Staples Center, where he had a Gordie Howe hat trick (including his first NHL goal).

300:1 – Jordan Nolan and Brad Marchand fight
500:1 – Brad Marchand scores goal and promptly puts a crown on his stick mocking the Kings.
27,000:1 – A fan wears a split Kings/Bruins Jay Miller jersey
