Late in Thursday night’s game at St. Louis, Kings defenseman Jake Muzzin put a hit on Blues center Vladimir Sobotka that could generate a phone call from the league office…
UPDATE
#LAkings haven't heard a word from league office re: Muzzin's hit in STL last night. Looks like not only no suspension, but no fine either.

John, if he is suspended, do you foresee Schultz or one of the kids, either Campbell or Bodnarchuk, getting the call up?
Did anyone else see how Quick fired a puck into the scrum after Pietrangelo played the puck at him after the play? Oh Quickie, you crack me up.
What did Shawn Thornton do that was worse than what Tarasenko did? Skated up behind a guy, spun him down to the ice and started throwing punches at him. Only difference I see is Jake protected himself and didn’t get knocked out. I know it’s off topic from the hit that caused the scrum but I’m curious what other people think of how Tarasenko jumped Jake afterwards.
