AUDIO: Guest spot on Sportsnet Radio – looking at the Martin Jones situation

December 12, 2013 By John Hoven

On Wednesday afternoon I was back on Sportsnet 960 in Calgary to help preview the Kings-Leafs game. During the conversation we spent quite a bit of time talking about Martin Jones – about his past, what he’s been doing over the past few weeks with the Kings and speculated on his future once Jonathan Quick returns. Later, we touched on Jonathan Bernier, Darryl Sutter, the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Tyler Toffoli, Manchester Monarchs, Robyn Regehr, Drew Doughty, Slava Voynov, Jarret Stoll, Darryl Sutter and much more.

If you missed the spot, catch a free replay here…

Earlier this week, I also spoke with Boomer Gordon on NHL Network Radio regarding other news and notes. If you missed that discussion, click here.

John, he has really been not just a pleasant surprise, but a gigantic surprise. It just could make something big happen by the trade deadline and shake up the NHL.
