On his confidence level and if it changes per game:
“I think it’s kind of been the same. I mean obviously getting more opportunities, playing more minutes, means a lot. You got to kind of take it and run with it, so that’s what I’ve been trying to do. Just trying to make plays. You have to be confident making plays if you kind of second guess yourself, you’ll run out of time or space. So you just got to be confident and just do the things you’ve been doing your whole life.”
On if being on the ice during the final minutes of the game boosts his confidence:
“I don’t think that really affects you. It’s just like any other part of the game, you just got to go play your best and do whatever you can.”
On the team recovering after a loss and preparing for next game:
“Yeah obviously it’s tough losing games, especially in overtime. I think that we forgot about it, we haven’t talked about it. We’re ready to go there tomorrow and play a good game.”
On puck and board battles in the NHL vs in the juniors in AHL:
“It’s tougher. The guys are bigger and have better sticks. You just got to go in there and be willing to pay the price and make a play for it.”
