Trevor Lewis – ‘It sucks to be in the penalty box’

May 18, 2013 By John Hoven

Trevor Lewis post-game comments…

On if he was pushed: “I didn’t think it was a penalty. I don’t know.   It is what it is.  Can’t change it now. We need to focus on the next game.”

On the penalty kill in OT: ‘The guys did a good job. It was an unfortunate bounce. Just need to focus on the next game.”

On the penalty handing over his head for the next two days: “It sucks to be in the box, especially when you’re a penalty killer. It’s a tough one. We need to refocus and regroup. That’s why you win the first two.”

On guys using the next two days to heal up any little bumps and bruises: “Guys are playing a lot of minutes, so it’s good to get a little rest. We’ll refocus and try to get back here and get another win.”

It sucks to lose … Us watching we’re mad us heck too but you know what, the only way to get back is to win- decisively… They got to score more goals! So when bad calls happen it wouldn’t hurt as much. These one goal games are killing us!!
