Following the Kings’ morning skate in advance of Game 3 vs. the Blues, here’s what Kyle Clifford had to share with MayorsManor…
On what he did yesterday to prepare for tonight:
“You know, I think we had the option to kind of choose what we wanted to do to get ready for tonight. I skated, because I like skating. Working on the little things I need to improve on. Some guys workout or something like that. Everybody’s different, you know? We’re trying to prepare going into tonight.”
On if he’ll watch the Kentucky Derby:
“I’ll be taking a nap. I’ll get the results after.”
On if he’s into horse racing:
“I have a few friends, their parents train horses. So I watched a little bit of the Breeder’s Cup during the lockout. It was pretty interesting.”
On if he likes the term ‘must win’:
“I think in the playoffs every game is a must win. I think tonight’s a must win for us, and every game going forward is a must win. So I like that word. I think that’s our mindset for every game.”
