MayorsManor First Goal Contest: Game 47 – Kings at Red Wings

Already dealing with a less than .500 record on the road, the Kings now have the unenviable task of playing in Detroit tonight without their captain (more on that below).

Additionally, the Kings are in a dog fight for the fourth seed, the only way they’ll secure home-ice advantage for the first round of the playoffs.

Despite the outcome of the game though, you could win a Dustin Brown themed-prize in tonight’s First Goal Contest.

To enter, simply follow these three steps…

STEP 2 – Click here to check out all the artwork Chris Thorne has to offer – not just hockey related, but all sorts of interesting items.  The randomly selected winner of today’s contest will be shipped the 11×17 print of Kings captain Dustin Brown shown above.

STEP 3 – Place a comment below with the LAST NAME of the LA Kings player you think will score first vs. the Red Wings (one entry per person). We’ll pool all the correct entries and one person will be randomly selected to receive a free Hockey Soda Energy prize pack featuring a hockey puck and a 4-pack of Hockey Energy Soda (must be 16 years of age or older).

Goaltender Jonathan Quick is expected to get the start in net for LA.
