It’s time for more input from the readers.
Following Thursday night’s 2-1 shootout victory by the Nashville Predators, we asked you guys to complete the following:
Besides earning a point, the best part about last night’s LA Kings v Preds game was _________.” (FILL IN THE BLANK)
We’ve poured over all the feedback provided by MayorsManor readers on twitter and facebook to come up with the ten best answers. As you’ll see, three were so many comments about Dustin Brown that two of them actually made it onto the final list…
@BLaroza – The desperation saves from both Quickie and Rinne. #heartattack
@LAKingsDru – Seeing Jake Muzzin improve game after game.
@jlock4820 – Daryl Evans shiny suit. Oh, and his pecs too.
@dslakoff – Seeing Richards contribute. I was starting to think a zombie was playing in his place #whysopale
@justinkbreen – Muzzin sliding and stopping a sure goal that got past @JonathanQuick32
Jason K – Keeping the Preds shots to a minuscule number
Dave S – Brown’s Shoot-Out Goal, Dirtyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keith H – BROWN UNDRESSING RINNE IN THE SHOOT OUT !! That was epic!! Watching him smile afterwards!! GO KINGS!!
Brian T – Despite having only one goal, the complete domination of the game
Dennis Bernstein (of The Fourth Period Magazine) – 2 consecutive games without a too many men on the ice penalty.

Honestly, I think Rinne just had the game of his life last night. Kings had plenty of actually pretty good scoring chances but Rinne seemed to see the puck every time. Not sure where that came from since the Preds had been getting dominated. Too bad his “game of a life” moment came last night. Oh well. On to dominate the Sucks!
