We’re just a few weeks away from the one-year anniversary of Fanatics signing a groundbreaking 10-year agreement to become the official provider of all NHL jerseys, beginning with the 2024-25 season.
With training camps opening in September, that also means we’re about six months away from the new contract kicking in, and we still have very little official information that’s been released by either side.
And now it's official…
NHL has announced a 10-year agreement with Fanatics to become the official supplier of on ice uniforms / jerseys beginning with the 2024-25 season. https://t.co/qvnMrpkWHW

That’s starting to change, though.
Earlier this week, Icethetics released a teaser video with some interesting tidbits surrounding what the NHL and Fanatics may be cooking up:
Using some of the details mentioned in that video, ALoImages has mocked up what a potential LA Kings practice jersey may look like:

ICYMI – below are all the details we have been able to dig up thus far regarding the Kings newly designed jerseys for next season.
DETAILED STORY ON KINGS 2024-25 HOME AND ROAD JERSEYS:

Sorry, but if there isn’t even a splash of purple and gold it’s a big no in my book.
lol your book isn’t really what’s being considered.
Rather than a jersey change….. they should get rid of LA Kings and move them to Houston or Atlanta
I agree, another cash grab, always changing the jerseys.
Whether the colors are forum blue and gold or black and silver…the original crown design (NOT the weird sharp, jagged looking crown of the late 90’s alternate jersey) at the center of the jersey needs to return. It’s an iconic look, don’t understand why this can’t be the primary design,
Hopefully they’re not the debacle that MLB is going through with the new uniforms that are also from Fanatics, the MLB gear looks CHEAP, and thin, with smaller numbers and lettering.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Fanatics isn’t just ordering through TEMU.
nike manufactures the MLB uniforms. fanatics just sells them. that debacle isn’t down to fanatics being terrible company, although by every account, they certainly appear to be.
No unfortunately not the case. Fanatics bought the old factory which did most sport team uniforms. They’ve owned it since like 2016, I think. So Nike and Fanatics came together and came up with those absolute garage MLB uniforms. Neither are willing to take the blame which just shows it was the work of teamwork!
Since Fanatics had taken over and worked with Nike on jerseys, we’ve had the NFL with their see-thru pants and now the MLB with their see-thru pants and jerseys that look like they’re homemade.
My favorite part is.. they think folks should pay $400 for one of these jerseys. Can’t go anywhere without corporate greed. Make it from the cheapest material possible while charging more.
All I want is the respect the original crown deserves. All this chevron, chrome, home plate or any other designs mean nothing without The Crown.
Purple and Gold. Tired and sick of the Raiderettes black and silver. I think the Adidas Reverse Retro showed fans want the original colors back.
I want purple and gold back like the other fans. I would love to see gold for home jerseys like the Lakers. I think the main problem too is that the NHL needs to get rid if the home and away jersey designation. Just allow the home teams to dictate the home uniforms like in the NBA. I would love to see teams wear white at home more often. This would allow the Kings to wear gold at home and purple on the road like the Lakers as I stated before. It would be such a cool timeless look.
Not EVERY fan wants purple and gold. Personally I hate that colour scheme. I thought it was one of the ugliest uniforms in the history of the NHL along with the Canucks flying “V”. But, to each their own.
