On Tuesday, the LA Kings placed goaltender David Rittich on waivers.
The 6-foot+4 veteran netminder was signed as a depth player in the offseason for $875,000.
He saw action in a few preseason games for the Kings, including a win against the Sharks in San Jose.
If Rittich clears waivers on Wednesday morning, he is expected to be assigned to AHL Ontario.
