There is really no other way to put it, the Ontario Reign needs a win, badly. After losing their 10th straight game last night, the mentality cannot be good inside the Reign’s dressing room. They’re not getting goals when they need it, they’re not getting saves, nothing has gone right in the month of March. It only takes one game to get back into the groove and for Marco Sturm’s club, they need it to be tonight.
On the ice, Cal Petersen is expected to start in net. The only significant lineup change believed to be in progress is fairly big news — look for the return of Kings prospect Alex Turcotte. He hasn’t played since February 15 at San Jose. On the season, the 22-year-old forward has 14 points (8G, 6A) in 24 games.
