After a disappointing trip to Abbotsford, the Ontario Reign are looking to avoid a disastrous milestone on the season, losing a tenth straight game. Going 0-7-2 has caused the Reign to tumble down the standings and are now sitting in fifth place and only seven points ahead of the San Jose Barracuda for the last playoff spot.
One positive for the Reign is they have a good record this season against Tucson. The Reign are 4-2-0 and won their last game by a 5-2 score in early February.
Head Coach Marco Sturm will have some choices tonight and he’ll start in goal putting Cal Petersen between the pipes. On the fourth line the question will be if Sturm goes with Nikita Pavlychev or Tyrell Goulbourne. Right now we believe that Pavlychev will draw in on that fourth line.
