Just in time for the big Dustin Brown weekend in Los Angeles, Kings Of The Podcast returns for one of the most important episodes in the program’s history. Joining hosts John Hoven and Dennis Bernstein is former General Manager Dean Lombardi.
That’s it, that’s the intro. Nothing more really needs to be said. They talk for nearly an hour, as he answers every question fans have always wanted to ask the architect of two Stanley Cups.

Always great content, and agree with you John, that I’ll be re-listening to this episode constantly!
However, I will argue that you won’t have reached the Zenith of your episodes until you record an episode with Matt Greene!! Ha ha!
The was the greatest podcast ever! Thank you!
Epic. This was epic. The Dave Brown/Dustin Brown story had me laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe, and his candor was not only moving, but I think it helps us understand how that period in Kings history came to an end.
I miss Dean, and I will buy his book when it comes out. I’m always up for a good read that is not for the masses.
Until then, we have our memories of the gratuitous Yankees references, Hamburger Hill metaphors… and of course, coulombs!
