Losing streaks are the key pregame theme heading into Friday night’s matchup between the Reign and visiting Barracuda.
For Ontario, they are looking to get up off the mat after dropping five straight games. Meanwhile, San Jose just ended an eight game skid with a victory on Wednesday.
Coach Marco Sturm has had little time to tweak his lineup on the ice over the past few days — largely due to prescheduled team events, like the annual Reign Gala. Thus, lineup information below is a little sketchy, at best.
After sitting out earlier week vs. Bakersfield, we’re expecting forward Andre Lee to draw back in. He’ll most likely slot alongside Samuel Helenius as LW4.
Given the frequent rotation Sturm has utilized with defenseman Kim Nousiainen, he’ll likely see action on the blueline. This is also made somewhat necessary by the fact Jacob Moverare is up with the Kings.
