For the first time in his NHL career, goaltender Pheonix Copley started his fifth consecutive game, and he came away with another victory for the Kings. In stopping 27 shots from the visiting Calgary Flames, he helped LA secure their fourth straight win.
Adrian Kempe was the offensive hero for coach Todd McLellan, scoring the game-winning goal on an all-Swede give-and-go play with Viktor Arvidsson.
