For the second time this season, it’s Reverse Retro night in Los Angeles.
The Kings arrive home after an extended road trip out east; now they get three straight home games vs. Pacific Division opponents. And coach Todd McLellan is getting back one of his key offensive weapons.
LA KINGS ROSTER MOVES
Arvidsson returns
Kupari recalled from AHL
— The Mayor | Team MM (@mayorNHL) December 17, 2022
After missing a pair of games, we will assume Viktor Arvidsson slides back into his usual spot at right wing on the second line. In 29 games played this season, the Swedish forward has posted 22 points (8G, 14A).
At some point, Adrian Kempe will likely move from center back to wing. When that happens, there will be a reshuffling of the bottom six deck. The recall of Rasmus Kupari could play into that decision, as he can man the middle when needed.
