It’s a whole new world for the LA Kings. Coming off back-to-back wins for what may feel like a lifetime to coach Todd McLellan, Tuesday night’s game vs. the visiting Anaheim Ducks brings an interesting question — ‘Will LA’s veteran coach opt to fiddle with a winning lineup again?’
Saturday’s game vs. San Jose saw a few shakeups and it led to another victory. We’re assuming he’ll once again look to fiddle with his bottom-six, and this could result in Gabe Vilardi sitting if McLellan wants to add some extra physicality to his forward group. He could also slide Vilardi to center and opt to rest Jaret Anderson-Dolan or Rasmus Kupari instead. You just never know these days, McLellan has had a few curveballs up his sleeves recently.
One thing is for sure, he won’t be adding Quinton Byfield to the mix this week.
