In addition to freezing temperatures outside the rink in Calgary, the Ontario Reign were basically frozen out in their game vs. the Wranglers on Tuesday night.
It was the first of back-to-back games against their Pacific Division rivals, and the home team had a comfortable 4-0 lead after 55 minutes of regulation.

Turning to the rematch on Wednesday night, it will mark the 1,000th AHL game for former Reign captain Brett Sutter.
It will also serve as Ontario’s final pre-Christmas game. Look for Reign coach Marco Sturm to make a few changes to his lineup, including replacing Cal Petersen in net with Matt Villalta.
Defensively speaking, we would expect Sturm to stick with his common rotation of Kim Nousiainen — meaning the young Finnish blueliner should sit this game out.
Up front, Sturm has been fairly consistent in keeping the Turcotte-Byfield-Madden line together. So the top-6 will likely remain as is. But, we would expect at least one change among the bottom-6, probably involving the usage of Alan Quine and Taylor Ward.
