Technically speaking, Tuesday night’s game between the Kings and visiting Minnesota Wild doesn’t qualify as an NHL Revenge Game — as the two clubs have already met up once previously this season. However, forward Kevin Fiala would likely argue the point… in any of the four languages he speaks.
After spending the past three-plus seasons in Minnesota, the 26-year-old winger was traded to Los Angeles over the summer with much-deserved fanfare.
In his first faceoff against his old club last month, Fiala recorded a goal and two assists. Even so, we’ll assume he comes into tonight’s game fueled with plenty of motivation to show the Wild what they’re missing out on.
