Post-game Notes
— LA is now 9-1 over the last 10 games vs. Detroit.
— Adrian Kempe scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season. Only Luc Robitaille (6 in 1999-00; 5 in 2000-01) and Anze Kopitar (6 in 2021-22) have scored more goals through the Kings’ first four games of a season in the last 30 years.
— By extending his season-opening point streak to four games, Iafallo also tallied his 100th career assist. Since the 2017-18 season, only Kopitar (225), Drew Doughty (165) and Dustin Brown (113) have recorded more assists than Iafallo.
— Phillip Danault scored his first two goals of the season, including the game-winner in overtime. It marked his second career overtime goal and first with LA.
— Vilardi established a new single-game career-high with five shots on goal. He also recorded his second goal in as many games and third on the year.
