Projected Lineup: LA Kings at Nashville Predators, Game 5

October 18, 2022 By Scott Coffman

Forward Viktor Arvidsson returns to Nashville on Tuesday night for the third time in a Kings sweater. Unlike Kevin Fiala who scored a goal when facing his former club a few days ago, No. 33 recorded a single assist in the aforementioned pair of games.

After getting his club back to .500 with an overtime win last night in Detroit, LA coach Todd McLellan had some lineup decisions to make heading into this one. Defenseman Alex Edler was bloodied up in warm-ups after being hit with the puck. Jacob Moverare has been recalled from AHL Ontario as insurance.

Meanwhile, forward Alex Iafallo — who had recorded at least one point in all four games this season — will be sitting out for a while due to a leg injury suffered in Detroit. He’s been placed on IR.

Carl Grundstrom or Arthur Kaliyev are the two most likely replacements to fill in at LW3. And Jaret Anderson-Dolan is still patiently waiting for his first action of the young campaign.

LA Kings Projected Lineup vs Nashville Predators

Fiala – Kopitar – Kempe
Moore – Danault – Arvidsson
Grundstrom – Byfield – Vilardi
Lemieux – Lizotte – Kaliyev

Anderson – Doughty
Walker – Roy
Clarke – Moverare / Durzi

Petersen
Quick

Healthy scratches: Anderson-Dolan

Additional Game Notes

Puck drop is set for 6:30pm PST on Tuesday and will be televised by ESPN.
