For Todd McLellan and his Kings squad, there’s no better time than the present to get things going.
One problem — already winless in their first two games this season, LA arrives in Minnesota to face a hungry Wild team. They were pummeled 7-3 in their own season opener Thursday night by the New York Rangers.
Both teams will also be equally motivated by the Kevin Fiala factor. After spending more than three seasons in the State of Hockey, Fiala headed to Hollywood over the summer to join the Kings (and sign a long-term contract).
Your #GoKingsGo question of the day…
How many goals will Kevin Fiala score in his return to the State of Hockey tonight vs #MNwild ?

Although McLellan brought his team to Minnesota on Friday afternoon, he scheduled an optional morning skate today, making it a bit challenging to accurately predict the roster.

Over on the Minnesota side of things, here are a few additional items to pass along…
