Round 2 of this year’s best-of-three preseason series between the Kings and Ducks moves to Anaheim on Tuesday night. Things kicked off with a 2-1 win for LA on Sunday at Crypto Arena. It was a game that saw the Ducks score just 42 seconds into the first period, yet the home team found a way to take over late in the first period and they never looked back.
As for tonight, GM Rob Blake and staff are undergoing the annual Training Camp roster purge, with a large number of players headed to the AHL. We broke it all down in an article here.

Additional Notes
Look for defenseman Sean Durzi to make his preseason debut later this week. More on that situation here.
Kings prospect Quinton Byfield is expected to be out (illness) for a few more days.
As for the Ducks lineup, the key question remains — When will Trevor Zegras be available to return? He isn’t playing tonight. Mason McTavish and Max Comtois will have to lead the way up front. Anaheim we’ll also use a defensive group that includes John Klingberg, Cam Fowler, Jamie Drysdale, and Kevin Shattenkirk. No John Gibson in goal; they’re going with Lukas Dostal and Anthony Stolarz.
Puck drop is set for 7pm PST on Tuesday and will be televised by Bally Sports.
