Following a typical Reign-Gulls battle in San Diego on Friday night, the AHL’s best rivalry returns to Ontario for an immediate rematch on Saturday.
Game 1 of their 8-game season series saw coach Marco Sturm’s club leave America’s Finest City with a 2-1 victory.
For tonight’s contest, we’re hearing he’s likely to keep the lineup intact, sans a swap in net.
As we reported previously, Kings prospect Andre Lee took warmups in San Diego. While he’s close to returning, it will have to wait a few more days. Meanwhile, fellow LA prospect Martin Chromiak has not returned to practicing with the team just yet. We’ll see what next week brings. After tonight, Ontario’s next game will be against the Barracuda in San Jose on Wednesday.
As noted in today's pregame article, @Andrelee71 is skating warmups. Getting closer to a return, just not tonight in SD. pic.twitter.com/CgLWMOry7E
