This tracker will be dedicated exclusively to LA Kings prospects playing in the American Hockey League. Given the large number of players assigned to Ontario this season, we’ll take a weekly look at their most recent performance with the Reign.
The Reign came away with three wins this week, taking down Henderson 5-3 and then defeating the Gulls in back-to-back games by a combined score of 7-2.
Aiden Dudas, Center (113th overall in 2018)
2022-2023 Stats: 3 goals, 1 assist, plus-5, 6 PIM in 5 games played
After a scoreless 43 minutes in Friday’s matchup with the Gulls, a hovering Dudas would literally pounce on an Akil Thomas feed to break the deadlock with a close-range one-timer. He would score again in the following game with yet another point-blank one-timer.

Rasmus Kupari, Center ( 20th overall in 2018)
2022-2023 Stats: 2 goals, 3 assists, plus-3, 2 PIM in 5 games played
After a quiet opening week, Kupari exploded for five points this week. His most noticeable play would be a primary assist against the Silver Knights. Skulking in his own zone, he picked off a pass and charged through the neutral zone and into the slot, deking past a defenseman before sending a drop pass back for the assist.

Tyler Madden, Center (68th overall in 2018)
2022-2023 Stats: 1 goal, 2 assists, plus-2, 2 PIM in 4 games played
Shorthanded and charging down the right side, Madden took full advantage of the tiny opening the Silver Knights goaltender gave him in the top right corner of the net, picking the spot for the first of his season. Another Reign forward with a quiet first week, Madden would add two assists to his totals.

Jordan Spence, RH Defenseman (95th overall in 2019)
2022-2023 Stats: 0 goals, 6 assists, plus-3, 2 PIM in 5 games played
Spence continues to quietly rack up his points, already sitting one point behind the defensive scoring leader for the AHL. He is quickly making the high slot his personal office, as all three of his primary assists were sent from there.

Villalta stood tall for the Reign in his two starts, defeating the Silver Knights 5-3 with a 27-save performance and shutting down the gulls, 5-1, with 33 saves to his name.
