Danault to Skip Final Scrimmage, Plus Kings Lineups for Saturday’s Skate

September 24, 2022 By MayorsManor Staff

After missing Friday’s scrimmage due to what coach Todd McLellan reported as a “muscle issue…nothing serious,” forward Phillip Danault is scheduled for Group C again on Saturday. This means he won’t participate in the final of three straight scrimmages to open training camp… if he even skates at all on Saturday.

Group C is scheduled to take the ice at 1pm today. We’ll have more on Danault at that time.

Meanwhile, there will be a Group A vs. B scrimmage at 10:50am at Toyota Sports Performance Center. Here’s how the teams are expected to lineup:

GROUP A

Fiala – Kopitar – Kempe
Iafallo – Byfield – Kaliyev
Andersson – Thomas – Fagemo
Nachbaur – Lawrence – Madden

Walker – Roy
Bjornfot – Spence

GROUP B

Lemieux – Lizotte – Grundstrom
JAD – Helenius – Chromiak
Pinelli – Tynan – Dudas

Hope McLellan realizes that Kopitar shouldn’t play on the PK. It would be better for him and the team.
