That first regular season game is expected to be against a Pacific Division rival, likely Vegas or Edmonton.
Prior to training camp opening, the Kings will also participate in the annual NHL Rookie Faceoff event. This year’s tournament will be played in San Jose on September 16, 17, and 19. Along with the LA’s top prospects, there will be five other teams involved: Anaheim Ducks, Arizona Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche, Vegas Golden Knights, and the host Sharks.
