They did it. The Kings have qualified for post-season play.
LA KINGS have OFFICIALLY qualified for the PLAYOFFS.
They're headed back to the postseason, where they'll rekindle their Smythe Division love affair with the Edmonton Oilers in Round One.

Following up on a topic discussed on this week's @kingsofthepod:
Have confirmed, LA Kings will not be wearing the white alternates & chrome helmets for any playoff games this season.
They're wearing them in SEA/VAN this week and, as noted previously, they'll return next season.

While one piece of the puzzle has been solved, there is still at least one open element worth tracking. The Kings could still end up with 100 points on the season – which is a significant milestone – should they win both games this week.
Coach Todd McLellan seems to be interested in resting a few players. Who sits out? Wait for the song?
Need a guess? We’ll assume Brendan Lemieux and Toby Bjornfot are back in tonight.
UPDATE at 3:30pm — As reported by Mayor’s Manor editor, John Hoven, the Kings are expected to rest Alex Edler, Anze Kopitar, Dustin Brown, Alex Iafallo, and Adrian Kempe tonight.
Along with Mikey Anderson coming off IR and being available to play, that would seem to indicate Brendan Lemieux, Lias Andersson, Gabe Vilardi, and Rasmus Kupari will draw in.
