With a win on Monday, the Reign pushed their winning streak to five games and they hold the AHL’s best home record at 19-2-2-2.
Ontario is also 8-2-0 over their last 10 games overall.
Things may be a little more difficult on Wednesday night vs. the visiting San Jose Barracuda.
Kings prospect Lias Andersson was phenomenal over his four game conditioning assignment, including putting up six goals. He has been recalled, though, and is now in LA.
Defensively, rookie Jordan Spence has been one of three players driving the Reign’s top-ranked power play (along with Gabe Vilardi and TJ Tynan). Spence leads all rookie defensemen in points and is second overall in scoring among blueliners. He too has been recalled to the Kings and won’t be playing tonight.
So, how will the Reign look vs. their NoCal rivals when they faceoff for the final time on Wednesday night?
