Despite a rash of injuries, the Kings continue to have a grip on second place in the Pacific Division.

Saturday afternoon in Vegas looks to be a big game of sorts, perhaps even the biggest game LA has played this late into March going back several seasons. A regulation win would not only add another two points to the Kings totals, but it would also add to the arm’s length gap holding the Golden Knights at bay.
This was to be LA’s first look at Jack Eichel in a Vegas sweater. However, his recent injury likely means that will have to be postponed a bit.
Coming out of Thursday night’s shutout win at Crypto.com Arena, the Kings are expected to keep the same lineup, sans the usual goaltender swap.
As noted throughout the week, Doughty has returned to practice. However, he's only been passing the puck, not shooting it.
Björnfot is the next Kings D expected back — see here https://t.co/NYoiQeWqGF — others (including Doughty) are going to be out longer. https://t.co/6ZfepNSHGc

FYI
If/when you see some Christian Wolanin movement later this morning, it's not directly related to this morning's Doughty tweet.
Kings only had six healthy D on Thursday. Wolanin didn't play for Ontario last night. Paper transaction would've sent him down for cap savings.

VIEW FROM THE OTHER SIDE
DeBoer said the test results have not come back on Eichel and they should know more by the end of the day. He added that it "could be anywhere between a couple days and more than that" and said it's a "big concern."
